(Walsh/Powell)1870's Antique Vaseline Opalescent Oil Lamp Shade & Fitter MINT
This Beautiful shade and fitter has been stored away in my attic for 60 - 70 years and has been handed down for generations. I do not think you would ever find another like it. It is for a banquet lamp or large oil lamp. It glows under a black light because it has uranium in the glass. It measures 8" inches across at the top ruffles, 7" inches Tall and 5 inches at the fitter end. The shade holder is a 5" inch holder with the center hole about 2 5/8" inch. July 29, 1973 & May 15, 1877. This shade is in Excellent Condition with No Chips or Cracks of any Kind! I do not see any scratches either. It does have some minor roughness on the fitter end. The shade holder does have minor bends, patina, wear and scratches but also is in very nice condition for being around 150 years old.
