Vintage Pair Oil Lamp Wall Lights Decorative Rotating Wall Mount

A vintage pair of Brass Oil Lamp Wall Lights, fitted with white glass student style shades. Their brass fonts are held in a cast white metal alloy basket, which is mounted to a scroll arm. They are wall mounted, using a cast metal bracket, which acts as a pivot allowing the lamps to be moved from side to side. Their wall bracket and arms are painted.

White and they are marked on their winder buttons - SHERWOOD BRGM and ENGLISH MAKE. They have no room for a glass chimney and have been converted to AC mains or 12 volt DC electricity, using brass small size bayonet fit bulb holders. Their white glass shades measure. Approx 5 3/4" or 14.5 cm wide and the lamps have a total height of 11 1/2" or 292 mm high and project out from the wall by 10 or 25.5 cm. They date to approx 1950's and are both in good working condition, as shown in photo's.
