Vintage Cobalt Blue Skaters Lantern Antique 1800s Nice Original Kerosene Lamp

Beautiful little skater's lantern - with a deep cobalt blue glass globe. Measures about 6 1/2 inches tall or 11 inches with the wire handle fully extended. The top and base are threaded so they can be removed to fill the oil reservoir and to light. Assume the metal is tin. Condition is best seen in the pics.

There is discoloration and oxidation to the metal as expected due to its age. The lamp is slightly askew but assume this is normal. The metal top (with handle) and reservoir base both screw off easily, but the threaded metal base at the bottom of the blue glass shade is a bit firm and I didn't try to force it off. There are a couple of small chips on top of the glass globe where it threads into the metal top (see pics). There are no other cracks or breaks. This is a very old great little lamp. The item being offered for sale has been described to the best of my ability.

I have included numerous pics so the condition is well illustrated. Please review the photos closely. I have had ZERO issues to date as you can see in my feedback.
