Up for your consideration is an Amazing and very Rare Handel Oil Lamp base with the Original 3 Light conversion ring. When these bases do come up for sell you often find them missing the most important part witch is the 3 socket ring. This ring goes one step further and has an extremely rare signed Handel Hubbell socket.

The socket alone is very hard to come by and just adds to this base. This type of base was made by the Handel Lamp Company at a time when not a lot of homes had electricity. The base is 20 tall to the shade rest, 24 1/2 tall overall to top of glass. It is 8 at the widest point and has a 7 wide base.

This lamp is signed as well on the bottom in the common location and on one of the shade ring sockets. The only condition issue is a small crack inside the base (shown in the pictures) this does not show through to the outside and is very stable. Just overall a very nice and hard to come by example of Handels work. I have had this in my collection for far to long and its time to let someone else be the keeper for awhile.
