The Rochester Antique Oil Lamp Converted to Electric Fenton Rose Glass Globe

This beautiful Antique lamp was originally an oil lamp made by The Rochester Lamp company and was adapted to use electric. The globe is by Fenton, and is the Rose pattern. Note the wiring is an aftermarket kit that does not effect the original oil lamp which appears intact. The wiring kit sits on top of the lamp and the wire runs on the outside. To convert back would need the flame spreader and possibly a ring to allow for the wick to raise.

You can see the original wick still in it. The prongs on the original holder is missing one and the other three are loose. It will hold the conversion light well. The glass globe has a chip in the bottom but is hidden by the ring it sits on. Overall measuresments is 20" high with a 6"x6 base.

The base itself is 10 high and is made out of brass. The lamp is in very good condition - it does need to be cleaned by a professional to avoid removing the gorgeous patina it has developed over the years.
