Superb Rare Antique Hollins Brass Kerosene Oil Lamp. W/ 9 Pink Gilt Dragon Ball Shade. A Ravishing & Rare, All Original, 1890's Antique Brass Pancake Kerosene Oil Lamp by R. Of Boston, with a Highly Desired 9 Pink Gilded Griffin Dragon w/ Gilded Quiver & Wreath Cased Globe Shade. The Antique 2-Up Shade (twice repeated pattern) of the Gilded Griffin Dragon and the Gilded Wreath, Arrow Quiver & Oak Leaves symbolizes success, strength, power & love in both Chinese Tradition & Greek Mythology.

The 9 Dragon Globe is attributed to Phoenix Glass Company and firmly locks into the. 1897 Patented Phoenix Globe Holder. The top opening has its original brass heat ring intact and measures approx.

The Gilded Dragon Ball Shade is in VG+ Condition with no loss of the Gild and only a tiny fleabite on the fitter bottom. The Polished Brass Pancake Font & Footed Lamp Base w/Decorative Brass Handle & Duplex Burner was made by R.

Hollins & Company of Boston, Mass. The lamp base is approximately 10" in diameter and measures 5" to the top of the collar. It has a 2-1/2" Duplex Chimney Base by 12" tall.

The overall height to the top of the Dragon Globe Shade is 15. The Kerosene Oil Lamp is all Original and in VG+ Condition with only a couple of spots on the brass font that won't polish out (see pics). All reasonable offers will be seriously considered!
