RARE JEWISH STAR OF DAVID 1870s APPLIED HANDLE OIL LAMP 1883 BURNER & CHIMNEY

This is a scarce 1870s Jewish Star of David pattern kerosene oil lamp with its original 1883 dated brass burner and scarce small glass chimney. The middle of lamp has a a band of 6 pointed stars known as "Star of David", which is the recognized symbol of the Jewish nation and people. Inside the stars are tiny 5 pointed stars..... Crude applied finger grip handle with crude drip of glass folded over on bottom......

Lamp is hand blown in mold..... Round with small footed base ring.... Excellent sparkling mint condition with no chips or damage of any kind. Shiny clean with no haze.... Original brass threaded collar is excellent with no damage.

The original old brass burner is smaller than normal size and embossed P&A MFG CO PAT. 16.83 on the round wick knob. Excellent working condition; turns the wick up and down smoothly. The glass chimney is smaller than normal... Only 1 7/8across fitter base.
