It has a cranberry glass shade that has an etched design of flowers, and a highly embossed brass base. It is 31 inches tall (to top of chimney), the brass parts are 19 inches (to the shade) the font is 6 inches tall and 6 inches wide, the shade is 5 1/2 inches tall and 8 inches wide at the top. The shade has a pleated top and is cranberry color, lighter at the bottom going darker towards the top, there are etched flowers around the top and a different etched flower design around the bottom. The bottom opening is 3 7/8 inches, no flaws.
The font has embossed on it "THE JUNO LAMP MADE IN USA". The burner has stamped on the top "E M & CO" with some scrolling.
The embossed brass base has a detailed flower design, the column spirals up to some cut out work just below the font. The font also has great embossed detail of a lattice with bunches of flowers and leaves hanging down.I don't know if it is the original chimney. I saw a tiny spot on the bottom rim of the chimney, looks like a chip but feels like an original defect (rounded and smooth inside) not a chip. It will need a new wick.
I'm not a lamp person, but I could find nothing wrong with this beauty. Note the very old type nut in the bottom of the base.
It might have a faint smell of kerosene when the box is first opened as it had some in it. I got this at an estate sale of an antiques collector who especially loved oil lamps and hurricane lamps.
It's certainly worth it. I enter the actual weight of the package and E bay calculates how much it will cost to go from my zip code to yours. If it seems excessive, it is just due to where you live and the weight of the package. My goal is to get items to you undamaged, but I have received many items broken, the post office is not very careful I've discovered. If something arrives and the box looks like it's been mishandled, please take a photo, then if there is damage get a photo of the damage and send these to me so I can start a claim.
