Here's a scarce 1858 dated early kerosene lamp with original marble base and opaque milk glass teardrop stem..... Clear hand blown or pressed glass font is round.... Milkglass teardrop stem with silver colored collar emb PATENTED NOV. 7 1/4tall to brass threaded burner collar..... 15 1/4with burner and chimney..... Old replacement brass Queen Anne Scovill burner is in good working condition but just needs a wick. Clear glass chimney has the ornate serpentine ribbed top; Excellent shiny nice condition with no chips or damage.... This is a rare early lamp with the 1858 patent date!
