Pair of Vintage Brass Wall Sconce Oil Lamps with Hands by John Scott in England

Great-looking pair of brass wall sconces, that have hands holding the oil lamps! By John Scott, made in England. I don't believe they ever had oil in them, I think they were just mounted for decorative purposes. 18.5" tall backing pieces, and they stick out from the wall about 9".

Some wear consistent with age/use, and they could use polishing. But overall in good vintage condition.
