Old Antique Brass CRANBERRY HOBNAIL Electrified HANGING LIBRARY LAMP Jeweled

Presented for your consideration is this beautiful antique hanging library lamp. The lamp has a brass frame, shade holder, font and burner. The bottom of the frame has an ornate pattern throughout with large, light yellow-green colored, diamond shaped jewels on the left and right sides. The font has an ornate pattern throughout with a brass burner.

The adjusting knob on the burner is marked with Made in U. The lamp has a cranberry glass, hobnail patterned shade with a brass shade crown sitting on the top. The shade sits nicely in the shade holder ring. The lamp is completed with a brass ceiling mount/hook, middle decorative piece, brass smoke bell and clear glass prisms.

The decorative piece that holds the smoke bell is in the shape of a mythical or tribal bird with its mouth open wide as if it were attacking something. The lamp was electrified at one time. However, the lamp is untested so we are unsure if it is in proper working condition or not. This great looking hanging lamp would make a great addition to any antique lamp or lighting collection! The shade ring is slightly bent. No breaks, dings or dents in the brass and the shade is free of cracks and chips. Overall in VERY GOOD condition. Please refer to the photos for the absolute best details. Measures 16" wide at the widest point of the frame, 14" in diameter at the shade and approximately 42 tall.
