Miners oil wick lamp Long patent in brass scarce mining. This is a very nice example of the Long patent and is marked with the earlier of the two patents by Eugene Long design patent 28,594 dated May 10, 1898. The base is unmarked and does not have the second patent date. Doubt this lamp was ever used but there are a couple of very minor dings (worst one on domed lid).

Height to lid 3 inches and height to spout end 4 1/8 inches. See my other listings for mining items.
