Lovely oil lamp with lovely etched glass shade, brass duplex burner, hand painted green font and glass chimney. The fluted eched / frosted glass shade is in a really nice condition and has a lovely intricate foliate / floral design on concentric rings. It is clear in colour.
It has a 4" fitter and is 7" tall. It is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks. I have no idea whether it is an original or reproduction. It has a chimney with an oval bulge to go with the duplex burner. It is in good condition with no chips or cracks.
The brass duplex burner is a lovely solid burner in good working condition. It has plenty of wick to get you started.
The winding knobs have black enamel / ceramic winding buttons. First stamp: Has a sun with a face inside and a letter'F'.
Falk, Stadelmann & C° also known as "Veritas". The other is stamped:'British Made Duplex. The base has a decorated brass column on a black ceramic plinth. There is an'A' stamped on the base of the plinth underneath. Please look at the photos for more detail as they provide a large part of the description.
