Cranberry Faceted Cut Glass Oil Lamp Font / Fount, Duplex Screw Collar. Cranberry font with clear outer glass and cut facets with a 39mm 1 1/2 internal diameter screw fitting collar that will take a duplex burner with with screw fit. The undermount (probably a replacement) has a 21mm screw fit (No 7 size - the smaller size).

Probably dates to the early 20th century, possibly late 19th. I have included a number of photos and these probably describe the item better than I can and form part of the description.

In a reasonably good used condition, a part from some very tiny nibbles to the edges of the facets it is free of chips and cracks. There is some scratching to the underside. I have only given it a very quick wash and marks remain including some decorating paint spots and grime to the underside of the font. Unusual undermount which has some thread missing although it will still screw into a No 7 base.

Small air bubbles in the glass. Size: 12.5cm high, 14cm widest diameter.
