For your consideration is an antique Consolidated Glass Company embossed lion head gone with the wind parlor oil lamp. It has opaque white glass on the base and shade with a brown and yellow base paint. On each of the stenciled decorated panels is a middle eastern / safari pattern. On the bottom of the footed base it is marked 09 and the flame spreader is marked Consolidated with patent dates. The burner and font can also has patent dates.
All of the metal parts are in good condition with no breaks in the metal and all move freely and can be disassembled. There is some wear to the finish on the footed base and the hole for the bolt to hold the base together is larger than normal but does not affect the assembly. The paint on the glass is good but does have slight wear marks in areas as well as the stenciling. It measures 27" tall to the top of the chimney, 22 1/2"tall to the top of the shade, and 10 1/2 tall to the top of the spill ring on the base. The footed base is approximately 7" x 7".
The ball shade is 9 3/4 tall. Please review and enhance the photos as they are part of the description.
