C 1880s Antique Victorian Cranberry Glass Miniature Kerosene Oil Lamp

Offered for sale is a beautiful antique cranberry glass miniature kerosene oil lamp manufactured during the late 1800s. The lamp has a paneled font with a pinched waist and broad shoulder and the shade has a swirled pattern. Affixed to the font is a brass collar which includes a brass burner into which the shade rests. The lamp stands approximately 8 3/8 tall from the base to the top of the chimney. The overall condition of the lamp is excellent. It is extremely clean and. I see no chips or cracks other than the standard roughness to the fitter rim and top rim of the shade as expected. He glass has beautiful color and clarity and I see no residue inside.

The glass has standard manufacturing imperfections in the form of air bubbles, inclusions, etc. The brass collar looks great with no splits and it has a nice aged patina. There is standard light rubbing to the bottom from where it was slid around. The brass burner is original and it is it functions as it should with no faults other than aging.
