Antique Victorian Lamp Cranberry Font Ruffled Shade Converted Oil Lamp. For sale is a converted old oil lamp, sits on a marble column style pedestal. With matching marble slab and metal base stand.

It has a swirl cranberry font and comes with a nice ruffled shade which is clear and fades to cranberry towards the bottom, it may have lost some color over time, but still looks lovely. It has an inline cord switch, works as shown in photos.

Stands 25.5tall up to the chimney, the base is about. 6.25" and the shade is 4" fitter, 6" tall, ruffle top 9" widest. Condition: This is about 100 plus years old and will show signs of wear as to be expected. Condition-used, good overall age appropriate condition, wear commensurate with age, nothing offensive.

As with all early glass it may contain the normal inclusions such as seeds, bubbles, cooling marks etc. Just about every lamp and/or lighting fixture that I sell at one time has been in use, they were manufactured for use in extreme conditions and subject to heavy use, these lights have survived! They have already proven their ability to stand the test of time...... This is a measure you simply will not find in ANY new light fixture made today. The originals of what others copy today. Vintage light fixtures increase in value as the supply is diminished. Please review photos for a determination of condition also. I never charge for packing materials or for my time for packing (which is considerable when packing antique lamps & china).
