Antique from the Victorian Era brass frame and glass hanging parlor oil lamp that has been electrified. The milk glass shade is hand painted with a butterfly on two sides. The font is clear glass with a nice textured design. The chimney is half frosted and clear at the top. The mechanism at the top that regulates the chains looks complicated and we really don't know exactly how it works. The chain on one side is missing the connection hook to the bracket above the glass shade. The small dangle brass part that hangs below the brass mechanism at the top has been disconnected and we attached it temporarily for the photos. The electric cord that was used for the conversion is coming through the glass font's stopper. The hand painted glass shade is 13 1/2" diameter at the bottom and 6" at the top. The shade is also 6 high. The lamp is offered in its as is and as found condition.
