If purchasing for actual use, I would count on having it rewired for safety. Where there was once a wick, there is now a light bulb socket.
The wire was run outside the lamp along the chain. It does come with a glass chimney. Lovely floral glass shade in shades of white and green.
Overall in very good condition, some tarnish here and there on the brass and occasional small scratches, oxidation of brass at chimney connection, but no cracks or chips were found on the glass. The lovely crystals hanging around the perimeter give this lamp a real formal look. There are no maker marks that I could locate.I thought that it may be an Edward Miller Lamp, or a Plume & Atwood Lamp. Both would have been produced in the late 1800's era.
