WRITING MADE IN USA ON RISER TURNER KNOB. This Lamp has been Electrified so the Success Marking on top of the Burner is missing.

However, given it has the Made in the U S of America Turner Knob that was commonly used on the Success Lamps, we believe this to be one. However, please understand this is our opinion only and not a guarantee.

It appears to us it could be converted back to Oil. The Lamp is decorated with Sprigs of Violets on a Custard Base. The Custard is a bit darker than the. As you can see from the photos it gives off a pleasing glow when lit. The overall condition of the Lamp is good except for an approx 21/2 chip out of the base of the Ball Shade where it fits into the Holder.

For the most part the Brass shade holder covers up the chip. This does not affect how the shade sits or its stability in the holder. You can turn the lamp to the wall if the very small part that still shows bothers you.
