FOR YOUR ATTENTION & CONSIDERATION: BEAUTIFUL, VERY RARE, FLUID, KEROSENE LAMP WITH CLEAR GLASS BLOWN MOLDED FONT ON A PRESSED GLASS BAROQUE BASE IN EXTREMELY ATTRACTIVE APPLE GREEN COLOR. IT IS IN A VERY GOOD ALL ORIGINAL CONDITION, WITH NO CHIPS, CRACKS OR REPAIRS, ONLY SOME USUAL HAIRLINES AND BUBBLING, ALL AS MADE, FROM OLD MANUFACTURING PROCESS. THE APPLE GREEN BASE HAS A WONDERFULLY PRESERVED ORIGINAL GILDED DECORATIVE TRIMMINGS. THE HAND MADE, FREE BLOWN SHADE HAS A MASTERFULLY DONE GAS ETCHINGS WITH FLORAL AND WINGED GRIFFIN MOTIF. THE ORIGINAL LAMP BURNER HAS A PATENT DATE OF AUGUST 1867 AND STILL WORKS PERFECTLY WELL WITH KEROSENE.

THE LAMP MEASURES AT: 21 1/2" TO THE TOP OF THE CHIMNEY, 17 1/2" TO THE TOP OF SHADE , 12 1/2" TO THE TOP OF THE METAL COLLAR, THE BASE IS 5" WIDE, THE FONT DIAMETER IS 5 1/2. Our unique collection of American "gone with the wind" lamps took many years to form. It is now for sale and currently awaiting new owner. Most of the lamps in our collection are impossible to find for sale anywhere.
