Antique American Pewter Whale Oil Lamp, Cylindrical Font Great Turnings & Original Burner, c. This is a very fine Antique American pewter whale oil lamp. There is a nicely turned handle that comes off the edge of the base and attaches to the edge of the font. This lamp has a very nice turnings with a cylindrical font and it's original burner with burner caps.

The chain is loose from the top of the burner. This is an unmarked piece of pewter that has a wide stepped base. DIMENSIONS: The lamp is 7 3/8 H. (top of burners) 6 5/16 H.

(top of font) x 1 7/8 Dia. At the font and 3 3/4 Dia. CONDITION: Overall condition is very good with some minor denting and wear to the surface of the pewter lamp in some spots.
