This is a rare and grand piece of Moser glass. It measures 63 tall as it sits.
The base is 15" diameter, and the oil bulb being about 7 1/2" diameter. All this needs is a font/burner and it would be ready to light up. The screw in portion is stamped "Hinks & Sons".
The decorations are fantastic and in a Turkish/Persian influenced design. Bright gilt with colored enamel florals and highlights with raised enameled designs. Both designs match on bulb and base. The center pole has some gilt, but it is hard to make out.
This dates to about c1890 or so. This has not been electrified or modified. It comes apart in 3 separate pieces as the center green glass post screws into both the base and oil bulb. I have never seen another of this quality and size. Moser glass and English construction....
