Fantastic miniature antique oil lamp by Hobbs Brockunier in their'Seaweed' opalescent pattern, also known as'Coral Reef'. 1877 is stamped on the wick adjusting wheel. Excellent opalescence on this piece and the seaweed pattern is very heavy.

Clear glass base is good with no souring. Photo of the base shows'wrinkles' at the corners and these are from the manufacture, they are not a defect nor are they cracks. No chips, cracks or other defects. One corner on the base has a little rough seam but there is no visible chip. No cracks to the font or chimney and the burner collar is firmly fixed.

The wick wheel works but is tight. Glass chimney fits tightly into the burner top. Lamp measures just under 11" with the chimney; lamp alone is 6", chimney alone is 5-3/4.
