Antique Lion and Baboon Large Oil Lamp w/ Chimney and Burner Excellent Circa 1890. Up for sale is this fun and amusing Lion and Baboon large oil lamp dating from about the 1890's. This lamp is featured on page 119 of Catherine Thuro's Oil Lamps 11 book. This lamp is 18 1/2 tall to the top of the chimney and has the burner with a wick in place and the turn button works well. The lions are on the font and the baboons on the base.
