Antique Hobbs Star Panel Kerosene Oil Composite Stand Lamp Etched Shoulder 1870. Lovely antique composite oil or kerosene lamp in the "Hobbs Star Panel" pattern. Clear glass font with the beautiful Hobbs Star Panel motif and with gorgeous hand etching on the shoulder. Opaque white base in the blackberry pattern (there is some chipping on the bottom of the base, largely indiscerible when lamp is upright) Brass collar has 7/8" threading to accept a #1 burner The patented clinched-on font connector is dated "May 24, 1870 - it has been secured with the 2 clamps shown (quite secure) due to some separations in the original connector.
