Antique Hanging Library Parlor Oil Lamp Slant Shade

ANTIQUE HANGING LIBRARY PARLOR OIL LAMP SLANT SHADE. Has an eagle burner the wick knob works but I think the wick is too large and needs a small wicker. It will go up and down but to advance the wick a large amount, you have to pull the wick with it. But it easily goes down. I think a little smaller width wick would cure this.

The oil font is hand painted. The upper portion is a soft teal painted with yellow daisies.

The bottom portion is white. It appears to be copper but I didn't use any chemicals on it to clean the metal as some prefer the natural patina. It has some small age spots on the very bottom decorative piece of the frame. It hangs from a chain. Total length is 29 inches when hanging 14 1/2 is chain length.

The shade is 14 inches across the bottom. Total weight is 4 pounds 10 ounces. We use a high resolution camera to give a detailed description of the item.
