Antique Hanging Aladdin # 23 Electrified Oil Lamp withMilk Glass Shade, Smoke Bell

This is an original antique Aladdin hanging oil lamp frame with electrified no. 23 burner, milk glass smoke bell, and replacement milk glass shade. The shade isn't a perfect fit, but will do in a pinch.

The top rim of the shade is a bit smaller than the original would have been, but it still screws securely in place, and the shade is a bit shorter than the original, so the bulb is visible. The condition of the lamp and frame are very good, but it has been painted black at some point. The paint has some minor scuffs and scratches but is nearly 100% intact. The electrified burner cord comes out the top of the oil reservoir on both sides and runs up the lamp frame and through the ceiling canopy. The cord is secured to the lamp frame every few inches with a narrow strip of black electrical tape. The ceiling canopy does not have a mounting bracket on top, but rather a metal eye hook with a length of chain attached. With the appropriate parts, it could be modified to mount flush to the ceiling again. Both glass pieces are in very good condition with no cracks or chips. There are a couple tiny spots on the shade that look like paint splashes and are probably removable. Total height of the lamp (not including chain) is 23. The chain adds an additional 18. The shade is 11 3/4" in diameter at the bottom and 4 5/8" in diameter at the top.
