Antique Figural Oil Newel Lamp, A. Moreau, French early 1900 Art Nouveau Signed

This lovely figurine oil lamp is in the style of the artist August Moreau. It has his name written on it, plus a brass plate saying Fleur des Vallees par Aug Moreau. And on the back there is the round stamp stating that this figurine is Fabrication Francaise, Paris, made in France. This is 27 tall which includes the oil lamp.

The patina is lovely and strong, and the face is very beautiful. It does not attract a magnet. The statue weighs 7.4 lbs. And is in very good condition.

The only exception is at the bottom which has a small indent seen only when turned upside down. There are also a few scrapes on the base (please see photos). The glass font is etched and is nestled in with a small rubber holder. (The original holder is long gone). I believe this was made at the turn of the century as this lovely lady has all of the markings of being from the Art Nouveau era.
