Antique Dietz No. 3 Globe Tubular Kerosene/Oil Street Lamp Original Globe

These are increasing hard to find in any condition. I would rate this one as being in good condition. Where the tubes exit the base, go through the shroud and enter the top of the lantern, there is some separation of the tube from the lantern body. Some of these have been repaired via solder.

The fill cap opens easily but a previous owner wrapped it with fine wire to prevent the cap from being lost when it is opened. The globe is original and is embossed "Dietz New York USA".

It has no signs of damage. The shroud in bent slightly downward on one side. I did not try to straighten it, but it looks like it would not be difficult. The lantern is approximately 21" tall without the bail handle and the shroud/shade is just over 13" in diameter. The item "Antique Dietz No.
