Antique Cranberry Flower Design Etched Glass Oil Lamp. Beautiful antique Cranberry color Etched Glass Oil Lamp w/ Burner. The oil font has a flower design.

Measures 10" tall x 2.5" wide at base x 3 in middle. This antique oil lamp belonged to my grandmother. Back in the days before cell phones, Netflix or even VCR's, my dad had a little consignment shop in New England. As a kid, I always looked forward to going to the shop to see the new items that arrived each week.

The store was full items from unique customers, whom shared their unique items, often accompanied with beautiful stories. My dad retired years ago and the contents of the shop were packed up and put in the attic.

During the pandemic lockdown, I found time to start unpacking these little surprise boxes and was immediately taken back to that small town consignment shop. As I unpack each box, I also release flood of pleasant memories. Of friends and neighbors and a of slower time. Many of the items still contain the original tags written by my Aunt Helen. I still have a hard time deciphering her chicken scratch!
