Antique Copper Angle Lamp Co Double Oil Lamp withRibbed Chimney

A nice example of the Angle Lamp Company's hanging double oil (kerosene) lamp with embossed floral designs with the copper exposed and the balance a matte finish. The lamp is approximately 22 inches wide with a total height of approximately 18 inches. The central fuel element is 10 3/4 inches tall. Weight of the fixture is approximately 7 1/2 lbs. The clear glass elbow on the left burner is not embossed with New York near the upper rim which may indicate it was a replacement at some point.

The right clear glass has a few minor chips on the rim (which may be manufacturing defects) and has a closed crack near the set screw as shown in the last image. The crack is secure but we recommend a thin line of glass adhesive be applied by the purchaser (we use Gorilla brand in our restoration workshop).

One chimney has what feels to the touch like a one inch vertical crack on the interior near the top but there is no crack visible on the exterior so we believe this was a manufacturing defect. The top of the fuel container has three notable bumps as shown in images. These are not seen when the lamp is hung. The two chimneys are the same size but one has clear ribs while the other has white ribs indicating one is likely not original to the lamp.
