Antique center draft oil lamp brass 5 font The Improved 1887

Very nice 5" brass font marked "The Improved" July 19,87 at the top collar (where burned attaches) and "TOP Patnd Dec 17 1889 on the top of the flame spreader. No splits, wick riser operates well. Has a dent in the bottom edge but no hole. Has a worn silver wash finish that someone started to clean up.

Comes with the original trim ring.
