This is an original antique (1880s) cast iron Eastlake style wall mount oil lamp sconce with functional glass oil font, burner, and chimney, and the original 9 mercury glass reflector. The wall bracket is stamped Stover Mfg.
There was a hole drilled in the oil pour cap on the font, but otherwise nothing is cracked, broken, or repaired, and the entire piece is sturdy, solid, and fully functional. The glass oil font might be a replacement, but it fits perfectly and completes this 140 year old piece of lighting!
It was tested and is working (see photos) so their might be a little oily residue inside the font and on the wick when received. The finish is all original and in excellent condition with some typical, minor wear from age and use. The reflector has some aging to the silver (streaks and spots) but is in very good shape otherwise and most of the silver is still intact and refelctive. Overall dimensions are 13" L (from wall to edge of font) x 18" H, the font measures 5 1/2" in diameter, and the reflector is 9" in diameter.
