Antique Banquet Lamp Cranberry Swirl Font Converted Oil Lamp Antique Wright & Butler Lamp Banquet Lamp Brass Corinthian Column Lamp Base For sale is a Victorian Wright & Butler converted old Banquet oil lamp, sits on brass Corinthian column style pedestal with a fancy embossed brass base stand. It has a swirl cranberry font and comes with a gorgeous acid etched old shade which is my favorite globe and difficult to part with.
The globe has 3 patterned cartouches. The lamp operates byway of an inline cord switch, works as shown in photos.There may be a photo with a clear chimney, it doesn't fit in gallery, I don't have a clear one. I always used the frosted one. Stands 33" tall up to the chimney, 24.5" to top of socket, the base is about 6" square and the shade is 4" fitter, 7.5 tall.
This is about 100 plus years old and will show signs of wear as to be expected. Shade is excellent age bubble imperfections (one with roughness to exterior). Condition-used, good overall age appropriate condition, wear commensurate with age, nothing offensive. Associated alterations, lacking burner due to electrical modification. Typical signs of use and age, slight dimples on base.
