I found this as you see it except for the new 14 chimney I put on it. It all works as it should you can pull it down it fill the tank and light it and then it will retract back up until you want to extinguish it. I think maybe the tank of shade have been replaced not an exact match but from the same time period 1870-80's.
The burner work good and is in good condition the #2 font has a fill lid that will come off. The clutch or break is working good strong and is original. No chips or cracks in the glass tank or shade. I notice 2 different size crystal drops some have broken tips. Measures 14" across the shade hangs down 32" when all the way up and will pull down at least 24 without a problem with more chain.
