The glass font is in great shape!! It has the normal antique glass traits of straw marks, mold seams and other imperfections. There is even a small paint?? flake encased in the glass in the base(see pic). The glass font has not been drilled so it is a prime candidate for the swap back to oil/kerosene. The brass gallery is in great shape if you revert to oil, so you can hijack that for spare/replacement parts. Or if you want a lamp that is ready to light a room out of the box just use the included electrified burner.

It is in great shape with no chips or cracks. From the pictures you can see the electrified burner can do top only, bottom only or both. The brass filler cap screws on cleanly and easily, but it does have a few dents to the side, where the vertical ribbing is, but it still shines great and does not affect its functionality.

The burner in the lamp has been electrified. This is an original oil lamp that would need a burner to function as an oil lamp again.
