Antique Oil Lamp Milk Glass Base & Ruby Flashed & Frosted Font. This 1860's-70's period kerosene lamp is a fine example of elegant Victorian lighting. This is a good sized size lamp, with a pear shaped font. The font is ruby flash stained and frosted in a floral and leaf pattern. The base is opaque white glass, probably made by Atterbury & Co. And with a brass clinch-connection and brass collar. The lamp is in very good condition, the glass font presents with light surface wear commensurate with age and use. The opalescent milk glass base is excellent. The glass font is approx. The brass collar has a 1-1/8 in.
