This is a beautiful 1880s ribbed opalescent kerosene stand lamp with frosted base and original matching hand painted frosted chimney! Clear font with white opalescent ribs inside the glass... Pretty hand painted red, yellow & blue flowers around the font with green leaves....... Sunken oil trough around top of shoulder.....
Hollow frosted glass base with ribbed ring around underside of base...... Original big bulge chimney has hand painted flowers around frosted middle. It has the old beaded pearl top rim..... 7 1/2tall to brass collar... 15 3/4with burner & chimney.....
Lamp is in excellent shiny near mint condition with only one small shallow chip on very bottom of frosted base; no other damage. A shiny clean lamp with no stain.
Original brass collar has two patent dates in the 1870s embossed on side. It is in excellent condition with no damage.
Old tin replacement burner is in excellent working condition. It is over 100 years old. Original glass chimney is perfect with no chips or damage. This is a great looking 1800s oil lamp from our collection that is one of the prettiest opalescent ribbed lamps weve seen!
