1880'S OWL MOON & STARS DECORATED FISHBOWL DEEP ACID CUT-BACK KEROSENE OIL GAS EARLY ELEC 5 FITTER SHADE. 1880's'Owl & Moon & Stars' decorated deep acid cut-back kerosene oil, gas or early electric shade.

Classic fishbowl form shade, with wonderful deep acid cut-back designs of an owl on a leafy branch, a large Victorian fan, and a quarter moon amid scattered stars. These designs are repeated 4 times around the body of the shade. Very busy cross hatch patterned background.

Outstanding and rarely seen charming Victorian subject matter, great shade! Standard 5" lipped fitter, 4 3/4" tall, approximately 6 1/2 ID across the widest point on the shade.

There is a small shallow flake on the inside top of the shade, absolutely no harm. Outstanding subject matter period Victorian shade to add value to your favorite lamp.
