1870s RARE ORIGINAL MY PET FIGURE STEM OIL LAMP FROSTED FLOWER PANELS FONT

Here's a wonderful authentic 1870s figure stem "My Pet" embossed kerosene oil lamp with frosted panels font. The gray metal stem has girl seated feeding her cat from a saucer. It has the inscription MY PET boldly emb at her feet....

APL FOR emb on back.... Square iron base has all original black finish with brass ring on top.... Frosted clear glass font has cut flowers on all 8 panels....

Original brass shoulder & threaded collar..... Lamp is in excellent condition with no chips or damage. Super nice and solid with no looseness or wobble anywhere. A ring of light residue inside font, but could be cleaned out I'm sure.....

Old tin burner is emb WHITE FLAME LIGHT CO. GRAND RAPIDS, MICH on the top...

Burner is in good working condition but the wick is old and tight, so probably needs to be replaced. Old glass chimney has the beaded "Pearl" top rim....

Excellent condition with no chips or damage. It fits tightly into burner prongs.

This wonderful original lamp was shown pictured in the 1874 Bradley & Hubbard Mfg Co catalog. I guarantee it is authentic and made in the 1870s. About as nice as you will find! A rare early figure stem character lamp! Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
