This is a beautiful antique cranberry cut to clear 1860s Boston & Sandwich Glass Co kerosene oil lamp with its original marble base & brass pillar stem! Cranberry stained font with wheel cut to clear flowers & leaves around the font.... Square white marble base with brass pleated column stem.... 19 1/2with burner & chimney......
Excellent shiny nice condition with only a couple tiny pinhead surface nicks on the font and some light wear on the cranberry flashed color...... Brass stem & connections are solid and tight.... Antique solid brass burner is emb GLOBE P&A MFG CO on the round wick knob... Burner is in good working condition and still turns the wick up and down nicely.....
Old replacement clear glass chimney is perfect with no chips or damage. This wonderful cut cranberry lamp was made in the 1860s or 1870s.....
