Some of the gold gilt highlights are original, with a restored yellow and gilt surface on some parts of the lamps. The tanks were painted, it looks like there might have been some restoration here and there.
Signed on the labels attached to the burner tubes'MANUFACTURED BY THE H. Each approximately 26 long overall. The shade ring on the outside lip of the donut tank will accept a 9 fitter shade. The smokebells with early rolled under edges are approximately 10 across.
The chains lengths are approximately 21" each; the distance between the cast leaf and berry arms is 13 1/2" tip to tip. All parts appear to be functional. 100% correct and complete early lamps with the added bonus of having been part of a famous collection, and pictured in the informative book by Gerald Gowitt.
