Victorian Hanging Parlor Oil Lamp With Hobb's Blue Swirl Antique Art Glass Shade. Shade is believed to be Hobbs, Brockunier & Co. Who manufactured an "opal swirl" shade in Sapphire opalescent and ruby opalescent. It was designed to fit a 14 inch frame and is pictured on page 163 of Jeffery Ebersole's book titled Hanging Victorian Lamps.

The book picture shows it on a Charles Parker frame (see last photo). Glass shade is in excellent condition. There is on tiny spot that is either a flaw or small little nick. You will see the picture with the red circled area. It's only about 1/16 long, very insignificant in my opinion.

Possibly a popped bubble from manufacturing process. Possibly some tiny tiny flea bites around the fitter but could also be from manufacturing, can't tell. Shade fitter is about 13 3/4 in diameter. Oil lamp font may not be original to this as it's a darker blue.

It is in good shape with some roughness on the bottom where it sits in the mount. Does not come with a burner or hurricane shade.

The frame is beautiful and has in it's somewhat recent history been re-plated. Will be packaged with great care.
