Unusual Antique Lamp Ball Globe Shade Oil Kerosene Solar Astral 6 Fitter Birds

This is an unusual acid etched pink lamp shade. Aesthetic design with flowers and birds.

Not sure what kind of lamp this was made for, so if someone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate learning something about it. The shade measures 8 3/4 tall x approx.

Bottom fitter measures just short of 6. I doubt you'll find another one like it. Condition: Some parts of the shade are slightly lighter than others, but they are in bands that go around the shade, so I'm sure it was made that way. One small "pop" mark (not a hole in the glass) near the bottom.

Minor chipping to the bottom fitter, which of course you don't see when the shade is in place. Some dark specks (probably dirt) here and there.
