The cord on one was so badly corroded that I just cut if off. The other one looks like it has been rewired about 10-20 years ago.
I would just suggest having both rewired. They have been in my basement for quite a while, so they could use a cleaning. MAJOR NOTE: One top globe does have damage.
On the base of the globe does have a chip and a small crack that stemmed from it. This same globe does have damage on of the lion's head, near the nose. I have made sure to take close-ups of these areas in the photos so that you could see this first hand. Both damaged areas are on one globe...
The other doesn't have any damage to note. The detail on these lamps are very unique looking. I believe they feature transfer arab landscape's and the mask of a lion's head on both the upper and lower globes. They each stand about 23 tall (from the table to the top to the top of the globe). The globes are about 11-1/2 in diameter. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
