This Early 1800's Opium Den lamp. On a tray layout when opium possession was legal. We're thinning out some of our collection and giving you the opportunity to acquire one of these difficult to find opium layout collectibles.

This EXTREMELY RARE "ALL GLASS" Opium Lamp stands approx. 4 1/4 tall and is approx. 3 1/4 at its base. This All Glass Opium Lamp has a BRASS BAND around the base for extra reinforcement.

This one has an ORIGINAL CUT CRYSTAL OIL RESERVOIR!!! If you get really lucky you may be able to find one piece of an all glass opium lamp. So you can see just how RARE it is to even find parts let alone the complete original old lamp.

The reason we are parting with this one is we already have one in our personal collection and thought someone else might enjoy adding this VERY HARD TO FIND LAMP to their collection. If you are a serious collector DON'T MISS this opportunity they just don't come by very often. Smokers would indulge themselves in quiet repose while in communal buildings.

This Authentic "ALL GLASS" Opium Lamp and Lighter is in very nice condition for its age (175 to 200+ years). A beautiful Patina (soot & dirt) have developed on the glass base & shade over the years adding to its charm. We realize that most collectors request the articles to remain unaltered, we have left this Opium Lamp in its Original Condition just as we found it, BUT, we did clean the CUT CRYSTAL OIL RESERVOIR. You can clean the rest of the lamp if you wish. The fascination of the daily occurrences in the Opium Dens of old China are harbored within this Authentic Opium Lamp. Lamps such as this were used to illuminate the dim shadows of the Chinese Opium Dens, Gambling Houses and Bordellos, often times the only lighting in these establishments. YOU JUST DON'T SEE THESE OFFERED VERY OFTEN. THESE ARE MUCH HARDER TO FIND THAN MOST PEOPLE REALIZE! The Glass Globe has no cracks or chips.

The base has a couple cracks but is held tightly together by the decorative brass band. Please look over all photos. We realize that most collectors request the articles to remain unaltered so we have left this Opium Lamp in its Original Condition just as we found it, and kept it in this condition in our collection for many years. This size of this Opium Lamp is approx.

4 1/4" tall by about 3 1/4" at the bottom of the glass base. We have images of this lamp held in an adult male's hand and next to a cola can to help give you a better idea of the actual size. Its time to thin out the majority of our collection. This antique museum item is for Display Only.
