This listing is for the. Which is in excellent condition. The fount is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or hairlines. Commensurate with its age it does have the usual small air bubbles as well as three larger ones.

None of which are broken. The surface is glossy showing negligible signs of wear and/or use. It does have a couple of tiny fine scuffs which are almost impossible to detect. This fount has good even depth of colour.

The internal design when it catches the light at certain angles is reminiscent of ripples in water. The solid brass collar is original and has a small dint to the top external rim with no splits, cracks, creases etc. The burner, which will take a shade with or without a gallery, is in excellent condition and without cracks, dints or splits. The wick winder moves freely and has no excess movement. The chimney is in excellent condition with no chips cracks, fleabites, scratches or scuffs.

The base is solid cast brass and quite heavy. Overall it is in excellent condition with. Little or no signs of wear.

Here is however a small nick at the rear of the top section under the candle cup. This is not particularly noticeable and even less so once the fount is mounted. Once in situ this would face the back and not be visible at all. H 615mm 24 1/2 (with chimney).

335mm 13 1/8 (top of collar). W 140mm 5 1/2 (base diagonal). 112mm 4 3/8 (base square). Please view the photos carefully as they form a major part of the description. Items which need extra attention/care antiques, glass, delicate/fragile etc.

I use recycled packaging as much as possible. Items can be collected from KYNETON 3444. If you are not in a hurry I may be able to organise collection from SUNBURY 3429. If this occurs I will look to you for the balance.
