Fostoria Glass GWTW Gone with the Wind Parlor Lamp Dog Landscape Oil Keroscene
An absolutely stunning oil lamp from Fostoria Glass Company (marking on base) with matching shade and font featuring a bird dog with a wooded area back drop. The font is in great shape. No stress cracks, all pieces work. A new wick is needed. Note: the wick pincers get stuck on the center draft tube due to the lack of wick. Do not force the wick knob; remove the burner by turning as it is a slotted style. Raised edge sets in slot and you.

Ll see that it works fine. Just needs a wick and oil for lubrication. The gallery can be raised by turning as well. The flame spreader is marked Consolidated Lamp and Glass Company previously Fostoria Shade and Lamp Co.

And, along with the font, has patent dates of late 1800s. Re unfamilar with oil lamps. Never use force to remove any parts. Ask someone knowledgeable if you have any difficulties or don.

T know how to properly prepare for lighting. Note: a hurricane shade is not included but there are shade prongs if you wish to add one.

Item is in excellent used condition. There is some loss of plate to the metal base. The font ring has been repainted due to significant plate loss. Please view photos as they are part of description.
