Art Deco Moulded & Optic Glass Kerosene Oil Lamp
As this account is new my feedback is non-existent. I f you have any concerns or are understandably hesitant. Please put yo ur mind at rest by viewing my feedback at 4evaold. This cute little Art Deco lamp is best displayed where light angles through it.
With the exception of the hardware all components. Chip, crack and damage free. He base is out of the USA and the rest is French. The different finishes to the glass refract and reflect the light beautifully. The optic glass fount acts like a hall of mirrors with the reflection being being bounced back & forth infinitum.
The photo of this lamp with back lighting do not do this lamp justice as my camera. In an attempt to reduce the brilliance and sharpen the photos. Is constantly reducing the light coming through the fount. While doing this it is also messing with the colour of the frosted glass base which. Although a deep blue, is more dusky than shown in the photos. The clear glass of the fount is a slightly different colour to that of the base as they are from different manufacturers.The spheres on the adapter at the bottom of the column tie in with the internal coin dots of the fount. This burner which can be used with or without a shade. Is in very good condition with no cracks or splits. It does however have a dint to the rim of the shade lip. The chimney is in good condition with one tiny fleabite to the top rim and the usual fleabites to the fitter.
It is a little tall for the lamp so if you would prefer to source a shorter 10'' (ligne) chimney please let me know and I can adjust the lamp price. H 575 mm 22 5/8 (with chimney).
295 mm 11 5/8 (top of collar). W 140 mm 5 1/2 (base diagonal).
100 mm 4 (base square). Please view the photos carefully as they form a major part of the description. Items which need extra attention/care antiques, glass, delicate/fragile etc. I use recycled packaging as much as possible. Items can be collected from KYNETON 3444.
